Sports and Youth minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhi and Spanish ambassador to Egypt Ramón Gil Casares partook on Sunday in a ceremony, conducted to celebrate the launch of the first football Arabic-Spanish dictionary.
During the ceremony, the ambassador said that Football diplomacy was launched in Spain through the Ministry of Sports in Spain, because of the love of the Egyptian people to the Spanish football and its teams.
"This dictionary includes major information about the Spanish clubs, players, stadiums, and tournaments, as well as other terms in the football field," Ramón added.
On his part, the representative of the Spanish League in Egypt Juan Fernandez said that the dictionary will be distributed to students of the Spanish language in Egypt, in addition to universities, institutions and public libraries.
He stressed that there is La Liga academy in Egypt, as well as the La Liga restaurant and La Liga platform, in cooperation with a telecommunications company.
