Egyptian Youth and Sports minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhi thanked, Al Ahly's midfielder, Moamen Zakaria, for participating in parliamentary elections.
During a phone call, Sobhi thanked Zakaria, stressing that he is a figure that young people can emulate.
The sports minister wished a speedy recovery for the Red Devils' star, hoping that he can return to stadiums once again.
Sobhi also asserted that the ministry will continue to support him.

On his part, Zakaria thanked the Egyptian minister for his support, noting that participation in the elections is a national duty, calling upon the youths to partake in the voting process.
The 32-year-old player cast his vote in Ebn Sina school in Cairo, Egypt.
In September 2019, the 31-year-old player revealed his injury, which kept him away from football for six months, saying it was “a psychological injury.”
“I suffered an injury in my knee. My mother was ill, which left me down with none in my assistance,” Zakaria said.
