South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol on Thursday congratulated US President-elect Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential elections and discussed with him strengthening security and economic cooperation between the two allied countries and the situation related to North Korea.
According to what was reported by the South Korean Yonhap News Agency, Kim Tae-hyo, Deputy Director of National Security in the South Korean Presidency, said that the addressed security, the economy, and global issues, while the two leaders agreed that they would soon set a date and place for a personal meeting.
