The Dialogue Forum for Development and Human Rights and Haqqi Center for Supporting Rights and Freedoms organized a solidarity stand today, Monday, in front of the Broken Chair in the United Nations Square in Geneva, on the occasion of Egypt's discussion of its report before the Universal Periodic Review mechanism and solidarity to demand the United Nations to intervene humanitarianly to stop the wars in the region and provide protection for the Palestinian people.
The stand included a number of representatives of the Egyptian, Yemeni, Algerian and Palestinian communities in Geneva, and the stand raised banners denouncing the claims of displacing Palestinians.
The stand announced the full solidarity of the representatives of the communities and representatives of non-governmental organizations with the position of the Egyptian state regarding the claims of displacement so that the Palestinian issue is not emptied of its content, and the representatives of the organizations rejected all claims related to Egypt receiving a number of Palestinians as was rumored in the previous days.
