Sisi Wishes Jordan's Crown Prince Speedy Recovery from Covid-19

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi wished a speedy recovery to the son of King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during a phone conversation on Wednesday, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

"President Sisi made a phone call with Jordan's King Abdullah II to check on the health condition of his son, Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah," Rady said.

The 27-year-old Crown Prince was tested positive for Covid-19.

"His Highness Prince Hussein, who had received the vaccine against the coronavirus, showed mild symptoms and is in very good health," the Royal Court said in a statement.

On his part, the King of Jordan expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Egyptian President for this generous gesture, adding that "this call reflects the spirit of brotherhood and the deeply-rooted relationship between the two countries."

King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein also expressed his sincere wishes of goodness and prosperity to Egypt and its people.
