Sisi to participate in 5th AU Coordination Meeting on Sunday

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will participate in the fifth coordination meeting for the African Union, and the African economic communities in Nairobi, next Sunday.

It is expected that President El Sisi will deliver a speech about Egypt's plan for the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) as Egypt is now the president of the committee.

He will also review Egypt's efforts in facing the aftermath of climate change in Africa.

The Egyptian President will discuss the progress of the trade movement between the African countries, including the African trade integration.

The participants will also discuss the founding of a mutual African market to enhance trade, agriculture, economic ties, and skills exchange, in addition to the developments of applying the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The means of funding the 2063 agenda, which is dedicated to economic recovery, and supporting initiatives of improving agriculture, infrastructure, climate change, security, energy, and health, is enlisted on the agenda of the meeting.
