Sisi Swears in Attorney General

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi presided over the oath-taking ceremony of Counselor Mohamed Shawky Ayad, who was sworn in as the new Attorney General today. 

The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, conveyed President El-Sisi's well-wishes to the newly appointed Attorney General. 

The president expressed his hope that Ayad would successfully carry out his duties, upholding the rule of law and ensuring the rights of citizens in accordance with the constitution and laws.

In addition, President El-Sisi awarded the First-Class Republic Medal to Counselor Hamada El-Sawi, the former Attorney General, acknowledging his invaluable contributions and efforts to protect and uphold the rights of citizens and the community at large.
