Sisi Reviews New Administrative Capital's Relocation Developments

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi convened a meeting today, Tuesday, and followed up the executive situation of the New Administrative Capital’s recent developments, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady’s statements.

"Sisi met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, and Major General, Amir Sayed Ahmed, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning," Rady said.

The meeting touched on "following up the executive position of the arrangements for re-location to the New Administrative Capital."

In this context, Sisi was briefed on the executive position of the transfer of ministries and government bodies to the new capital, especially with regard to work developments in the government district, including its facilities and services.

Moreover, he called for taking into account that the construction work proceeds according to the planned implementation schedules, both in terms of commitment to the highest quality standards, timings, rates, and percentages of actual achievement on the ground.

On his part, the Minister of Housing also presented the executive status of housing units for employees in the New Administrative Capital, particularly regarding the administrative procedures required for real estate financing for the residential units.
