President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi praised German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her efforts and cooperation in strengthening the partnership between Egypt and Germany at the political, economic and commercial levels.
Sisi, in his speech to the G20 Summit for Africa (CwA) on Friday, wished Merkel success in all future plans.
CwA was launched under Germany's presidency of the G20 to encourage private investment in Africa, including in infrastructure.
CwA's primary objective is to increase the attractiveness of private investment through substantial improvements in the overall frameworks and financing.
It brings together reform-oriented African countries, international organizations, and bilateral partners from the G-20 and beyond to coordinate country-specific reform programs, support relevant policy measures and publicize investment opportunities for private investors.
The event provides an excellent platform to explain the achievements of sustainable development in Egypt over the past years.
