President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that Egypt would launch its Covid-19 national vaccination campaign Sunday.
Speaking to the press on Saturday on the sidelines of the president's inauguration of some national projects, the state will prioritize vaccination for the medical staff, then people with chronic diseases, and the elderly later.
Sisi affirmed that the state is shouldering its responsibility for development in all sectors at the highest possible rates.
According to the Health Ministry's spokesman, the medical staff at Ismailia's Al Khalifa Hospital will be the first Egyptians to be vaccinated.
