President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a Republican Decree declaring a state of emergency across the country for three months, from today, Monday, October 26, 2020, according to the official Gazette.
Noteworthy, the state of emergency in Egypt has been declared in the wake of two terrorist attacks on April 9, 2017, targeting two Coptic churches in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria, and resulted in the death of 45 people.
