People seek to stay fit and have the perfect shape, but with increasing age, health and ideal weight are discovered to be necessary to avoid diseases and maintain health and not just for having a good appearance.

Here are essential tips to successfully lose weight:

1. Calorie counting

- Rely on foods with beneficial substances that strengthen bones and muscles such as protein and calcium. Support your diet with vegetables, eggs, snacks, and main meals.

However, eat on small plates to avoid overeating.

- Consume 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day.

2. Exercise routine

Finally, losing weight at the age of fifty is not an easy feat, however, it can be done by improving overall health and well-being by focusing on a positive lifestyle, exercising regularly, and following a balanced diet.
