Shoukry: We Discussed Various Issues with UN Secretary-General

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry said that he met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations witnessed and discussed various regional and global issues.

Shoukry noted that the meeting witnessed consultations on developments in Libya,Syria and Yemen and the latest developments of the Renaissance Dam issue after the issuance of the presidential statement by The Security Council.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs added, in a statement to  “On My Responsibility” program, presented by TV anchor Ahmed Moussa, on Sada ElBalad satellite channel, that Egypt’s vision was presented before the United Nations General Assembly through the speech delivered by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi , saying that the meeting with the Secretary-General had an understanding on Egypt's position regarding the Ethiopian dam."

"The Security Council stressed the importance of reaching a binding solution on the issue of the Ethiopian dam."
