According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will go to Berlin on Wednesday to attend the Ministerial Munich Meeting on the Middle East Peace Process.
The conference will examine the most recent events in the occupied Palestinian territories as well as methods to step up peace efforts and ease tension between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, according to the spokesperson. The foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Germany, and France will also participate, he said.
He continued by saying that the situation in the Palestinian territories has taken a critical turn for the worse, necessitating a stepping up of all international efforts to put an end to Israel's ongoing atrocities on Palestinians.
