Shobeir: EFA Elections to Take Place on January 30-31

Ahmed Shobeir announced  that the Egyptian Football Association elections will be held on January 30 or 31, stressing that the engineer Hany Abu Rida deserves a thumbs up after all he has done and is set to return with his old board of directors to lead the association.

Shobeir said in his radio program via On Sport F M: "On my personal responsibility, I confirm that the Football Association elections will be held on January 30 or 31, but the elections will not include any media personnel".

The Ahly legend added: "Ahmed Megahed, Magdy Abdel Ghani, Khaled Latif and Muhammad Abu Al-Wafa held a meeting in the Football Association under the auspices of Hany Abu Raida, and they wrote down the next election plan and chose 96 clubs to vote in the Gabalaya community."

Shobeir continued: "Khaled Latif, Magdy Abdel-Ghani, Muhammad Abu Al-Wafa, Essam Abdel-Fattah, Tharwat Sweilam, Ahmed Megahid and Dina Al-Rifai will be members of the next Football Association's board of directors lead by Abu Rida and the position of deputy is reserved for Mahmoud Al-Shamy.
