The 40-year-old Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel-Wahab released an official statement earlier today, November 12th threatening to sue the makers of the upcoming TV series “Loloa”.
Abdel-Wahab denied all the rumors claiming that the “Loloa” TV series tells her biography and life journey. However, she confirmed that she is still in the midst of her art journey and will let her music and work talk about her and her life. The singer concluded her statement by warning the “Loloa” series makers of using her name in the series’ advertisements otherwise she will have to sue.
The “Loloa” series is a 40 episodes, TV show directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam, written by Mohamed Mahran, and produced by Synergy Company. The show tells the story of a young extremely pour girl (Loloa) played by Mai Omar who discovers she has a talented voice and embarks on her journey to be one of the biggest Egyptian and Arabic stars.
