European people have been demonstrating against the introduction of tougher anti-Covid measures.
In Belgium, the streets of the capital city Brussels were vandalized and flooded using fire hoses on Friday night, according to domestic reports.
Meanwhile, the French cities and the French Caribbean territory saw opposing demonstrations on the controversial issue of tougher coronavirus rules. In this regard, nearly thousands of demonstrators came out to protest on Saturday.
Similarly, the Netherlands saw several acts of violence and vandalism against lawmakers who supported the new vaccination rules on Monday.
The dutch demonstrators threw fireworks at police officers, who intervened with tear gas and water cannon.
Also, Croatia and Italy witnessed several nights of violent protests against COVID rules.
According to European political experts, the majority of Europeans are mainly opposed to the use of Covid passes, which stops the unvaccinated from entering venues such as restaurants or bars.
