His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissain Brahim Taha, met with His Excellency the Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Mr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, on the sidelines of the Twelfth Session of the Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers held in Khiva, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Secretary-General stressed the important role played by ISESCO, especially in the cultural fields, while the Director General of ISESCO stressed his aspiration for further cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the OIC and ISESCO on issues of common interest and ways to enhance it.
