King Salman was admitted to hospital for undergoing regular medical examinations, Cairo News cited the Saudi Royal Court on Wednesday.
King Salman was crowned in 2015 after spending more than two years and half as the crown prince.
The king is 88 year old, and his last visit to the hospital for the routine was in May 2022.
