The Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Fahd Al-Jalajil, said that no high cases of heat stroke were recorded on the day of Arafa.
And he continued: "There is still no outbreak of corona among pilgrims in the Holy Land, and the cases admitted to the intensive care units are very few."
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and head of the Hajj preparatory committees, Dr. Hani Jokhdar, explained that the follow-up of epidemic and infectious diseases is carried out with a careful monitoring system to monitor the spread of these diseases through early health warning of events that require rapid intervention, support, and field exploration, by working and maintaining the non-transmission and spread of these diseases among crowds of pilgrims.
Jokhdar added that the Ministry of Health maintains one of the strongest systems in the world that maintain the safety of crowds due to its monitoring and follow-up force for epidemic disease areas.
