Saudi Injured Player "Yasser Al-Shahrani" Suffers Fractured Jaw, Facial Bones

Saudi press reports revealed the nature of the injury of Yasser Al-Shahrani, the Saudi national team player, which suffered during the Argentina match in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh", medical examinations showed that Al-Shahrani had a fractured jaw and facial bones, in addition to damage to some of his teeth, without revealing the period of his absence.

Al-Shahrani took a flying knee to the head from teammate Saudi Goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais in an upset win over Argentina.

The Saudi national team defeated Argentina, with two goals to one, in the meeting that brought them together in the first round of the group stage of the Qatar World Cup 2022.

The Saudi national team is preparing to face Poland, next Saturday, in the second round of the group stage of the World Cup.
