The global golf course development scene is buzzing, with a surge in new projects across private clubs and luxury resorts worldwide.
Among these exciting ventures, several standout golf courses are set to debut in 2025, promising to redefine the sport's experience.
One of the most anticipated additions is Shura Links in Saudi Arabia, a groundbreaking project that places the Kingdom on the global golfing map.
Shura Links is part of a grand coastal development project in Saudi Arabia that includes the newly opened Red Sea International Airport, which began welcoming international flights in April. The airport serves 11 luxury hotels on Shura Island, just a 30-minute drive away.
Designed by renowned architect Brian Curley of Curley-Wagner, this golf course is Saudi Arabia's first located on an island.
Developed in collaboration with Golf Saudi, the course reflects the Kingdom’s ambition to become a premier destination for sports enthusiasts.
Each hole at Shura Links is crafted to deliver a memorable experience, with diverse challenges and breathtaking views. Holes 4 through 7 hug the coastline, while holes 14 through 18 offer stunning vistas of the open sea and inland waterways.
The course is expected to open in March 2025, making it a must-visit destination for global golf aficionados.
