She said, "There's nothing quite like the aroma of freshly baked bread at home. The taste, aroma, and flavor are unbeatable, no matter where you buy from."
In this article, we'll explore Nesma's recipe for making the perfect sandwich bread used for burgers or fried chicken sandwiches.
Ingredients:
1 cup of warm milk
1 egg
2 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of instant yeast
750 grams of flour
1 tbsp of butter
Salt
Vinegar
Half a cup of water
Instructions:
Mix the warm milk with sugar and yeast in a bowl.
Transfer this mixture to the bowl in which you'll knead the dough.
Add 750 grams of flour to the mixture.
Start kneading the dough.
Add a tsp of salt, a tsp of vinegar, and half a cup of water to the dough.
Knead the dough thoroughly.
Once the dough is well combined, add a tablespoon of butter and knead for another 5 minutes.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rest for an hour until it doubles in size.
Divide the dough; this quantity will make 12 medium-sized loaves.
Lightly oil the loaves to prevent the dough from drying out.
Let them rest for another half an hour to allow them to rise.
To achieve a ready-made look, you can use molds lined with parchment paper.
Place the dough in the molds, cover them, and let them rest for an additional hour until they double in size.
After an hour, you'll find that the dough has filled the molds.
You can brush the tops with egg yolk or water (to avoid darkening) and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 15 minutes.
Once they come out of the oven, remove the molds and parchment paper, cover them, and let them cool.
Remember, it's always a good idea to cover freshly baked goods for a while after they come out of the oven to keep them soft and delicious.
