The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) reported updates regarding the sandstorm that Egypt faces on Wednesday. The latest reports expressed that the sandstorm is currently covering Cairo and several regions of Delta's skies, asserting that the climax of the storm in Cairo will be in less than an hour.

Therefore, the authority urged residents to close all windows well, requesting all people who have Allergies, Asthma, or sinusitis to stay at home due to the emergence of dust and sand in the air.

Also, EMA urged all drivers and residents who drive their own cars to be more careful on the highways because of the difficulty of seeing on the horizontal level due to the storm.

In addition, it urged all people in the streets to avoid standing under easily-to-fall objects such as huge advertising flayers, trees, windows, and old houses balconies.

It is worthy to mention that four Egyptian governorates suspended all educational activities on Wednesday such as Alexandria and Matrouh.

EMA highlighted yesterday that the latest satellite footage expressed that the sandstorm was fiercely active in Matruh, Salom, Alamin, and Alexandria.

Furthermore, Alexandria started to face unstable sea conditions as the waves reached five meters high, alongside continued falling of showers.
