The newspaper said that the list of the top 10 strikers in Africa was chosen based on several criteria, most notably scoring and creating goals and overall impact on the field.
The newspaper added, "Mohamed Salah scored 21 goals and provided 17 assists in 28 matches this season, indicating his dual danger as a prolific scorer and creative playmaker, and he also has tremendous abilities to penetrate opponents' defenses, earning 24.85 points.
