The Safar Khan Art Gallery in Zamalek, will host a fine arts exhibition of works by the talented Kareem Abdel-Malak, entitled “Sakan” - which means “Dwelling” in Arabic.

Thirteen paintings and two wire statues will be on view starting Thursday April 11 till May 3.

When asked why he picked this title for his sixth expose, the son of the late fine artist and sculptor Ibraheem Abdel-Malak said:

“God’s soul dwells within us, endowing a spiritual dimension. Almost all human relationships hover around finding rest; either paternal or in-between partners.”

“God created us to love. May God’s spirit soothes us with tenderness. Blessed are those who seek love in the folds of their souls, and fell upon certainty therein.”

“Blessed are those with pure hearts.”

Abdel-Malak is an Egyptian-born artist, whose masterpieces have toured the world’s capitals including Paris, London and Washington D.C.

His most notable exposes at Safar Khan were “Soul” in 2016 and “Horra” In 2017.
