On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on the 96th anniversary of the July 1952 revolution.
The telegram is as follows:
“Dear Mr. President,
Dear friend,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on the 69th anniversary of the July 1952 revolution.
Russia highly values relations with Egypt, which are developing in the spirit of strategic partnership. I am confident that we will continue to build up constructive bilateral dialogue, cooperation in various fields, as well as interaction in solving pressing international problems - for the benefit of our peoples, in the interests of strengthening stability and security in the Middle East and North Africa.
With all my heart I wish you good health and success, and all the citizens of friendly Egypt - peace, well-being, and prosperity.
