Russian forces have captured two British volunteers working in Ukraine on suspicion of being "spies," the non-profit organization Presidium Network and the family of one of them confirmed on Friday.

Dominic Byrne, one of the founders of the organization, said in a statement sent to "AFP", "Two British volunteers who are not related to us, but who are known to us, Paul Urey (born 1977) and Dylan Healy (born 2000)   were captured by the Russian army at a checkpoint in Ukraine Monday.

According to the British-based humanitarian organization, Uri and Healy were captured  when they were  on their way to evacuating a woman and two children from Dneprorodin in the city of Zaporizhia in southeastern Ukraine, and the last contact was made with them at four in the morning.
