The Russian Defense Ministry announced the control of 5 new towns in Donetsk, the elimination of 13,570 Ukrainian soldiers, and the destruction of hundreds of armored vehicles, tanks, and Western weapons of Kiev's forces within a week.
The ministry said - in a statement reported by the Russia Today, Friday - that "from July 27 to August 2, our forces launched 11 strikes on armored and tank manufacturing and maintenance sites, drone warehouses, ammunition depots, missile weapons, and artillery. Groups of Ukrainian forces, their mercenaries, and Nazis were struck."
