Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied allegations of a new wave of partial mobilization.

This came in response to allegations on “Telegram” channels regarding “new partial mobilization; Peskov called for “not to exaggerate the importance of these channels, stressing that the authorities remain the main source of information.

He added that these allegations have been repeated on a number of occasions previously, so "there is no need to attach such importance to (Telegram) channels in general."

On September 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on partial mobilization. On October 28, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported that the partial mobilization was complete. A total of 300,000 people were conscripted into the armed forces.

The head of state has repeatedly emphasized that there are no reasons to resume mobilization.
