Access to the Human Rights Watch website was blocked in Russia over an article on the Russian operation in Ukraine.
The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) reported the block news on Monday.
Users have been restricted to a page of the Human Rights Watch website on the order from the Prosecutor General's Office dated back on April 12, while the rest of the website will remain accessible.
Nonetheless, as the website is based on the https protocol, the blocking of one page makes the entire website inaccessible in the Russian territory, according to Interfax.
The Human Rights Watch office in Moscow was shut down by the Justice Ministry on April 8, alongside another 14 foreign non-governmental organizations, including Amnesty International, the Carnegie Foundation, and the Heinrich Boll Foundation.
