In a recent statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the obliteration of two temporary deployment sites for foreign mercenaries aligned with Ukrainian forces and seven drone observation points in the last 24 hours.
Additionally, the Russian military successfully demolished a fuel depot and seven drone control centers belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ministry's statement further highlighted targeted strikes against two foreign mercenary deployment points, alongside concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment across 142 locations.
The Russian forces inflicted significant losses on Ukrainian troops, with approximately 430 soldiers eliminated on the Avdiivka front alone.
This offensive also resulted in the destruction of an American-made Abrams tank, two armored fighting vehicles, and 18 vehicles.
On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces suffered the loss of 30 soldiers in a single day, with Russian defense successfully repelling four assaults by the 32nd and 57th Mechanized Infantry Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region near the town of Sinkovka.
In a related development, Polish Border Guard forces announced the arrival of 56,800 Ukrainian refugees fleeing the conflict over the past three days.
Radio Poland reported that a similar number of refugees have returned to Ukraine within the same timeframe.
The Austrian government has confirmed its commitment to better integrating displaced Ukrainians within the country.
Andreas Achrainer, the Austrian government's refugee affairs coordinator, noted that many Ukrainian refugees have not entered the job market and are at risk of long-term unemployment.
Since the onset of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict two years ago, approximately 110,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Austria, with around 70,000 currently residing in the country, including 40,000 receiving basic care from the government.
Achrainer emphasized the need for longer residency permits and enhanced integration programs, particularly in language education, to facilitate refugees' entry into the Austrian job market.
Moreover, Russian intelligence has accused the United States of planning remote cyber-attacks against Russia's electronic voting system during the upcoming presidential elections, aiming to disrupt the vote-counting process.
According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, senior American IT specialists are preparing to launch these cyber-attacks, potentially preventing a significant portion of Russian voters from having their votes counted.
The statement also suggested that the Biden administration has tasked American NGOs with reducing voter turnout in the Russian presidential elections scheduled for March 15-17.
