On Thursday, the Defence Ministry of Russia, revealed the toll of the Ukrainian army’s losses since the Russian invasion, accusing Kyiv of cooperating with the US to spread deadly viruses.
The Ministry confirmed the destruction of 2911 strategic targets belonging to the Ukrainian army since the start of the military campaign.
“the Documentaries that Russia has from biological laboratories in Ukraine proves that Kyiv is involved with funding from the Pentagon, in conducting tests to develop new strains of Coronavirus that originated from bats,” the Ministry noted.
“US-funded human genetic samples and analyzes were transferred abroad from Ukraine, with the aim of developing a secret program to spread deadly viruses.
Earlier, the White House confirmed that Russia’s allegations of the United States participating in biological weapons laboratories and developing chemical weapons in Ukraine were false.
The White House said that Russia’s allegations are “preposterous”, pointing out that “we have also seen Chinese officials repeating these conspiracy theories.
It said that it is possible that Russia is preparing to use chemical and biological weapons in Ukraine or carry out an operation and accuse others of being responsible for it.
“The Kremlin is deliberately spreading outright lies that the United States and Ukraine are conducting chemical and biological weapons activities in Ukraine,” Spokesperson for the United States Department of State Ned Price said in a statement.
“Russia makes false pretexts in an attempt to justify its horrific actions in Ukraine. This Russian disinformation is complete nonsense. Moscow has a track record of accusing the West of the same crimes as Russia itself,” he added.
