World football icon Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly agreed KSA's Al Nasr £172.9 million per year, Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.

The deal will be a two-year and a-half which means that CR7 will play until the age of 40.

However, sources close to the former Real Madrid and Juventus star insisted that no deal was signed, adding that the icon is focusing on the World Cup.

Shortly before World Cup, Ronaldo left Machester United with immediate effect, the club announced.

The decision came after CR7's controversial and trending interview in which he harshly criticized the club, and disrespected Erik ten Hag.

Man United said in a statement that both parties stated that Ronaldo's exit was "mutually agreed"

"The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford," the club added in the statement.

They also wished "him and his family well for the future" adding: "Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team's progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch".
