A US military news website revealed that the US army has decided to shut down three military bases in Qatar that were used as  ammunition depots  and  stores of weaponry.

The website indicated that the USA army  has started transferring the weaponry to another Arab country.

According to "Stars and Stripes",  news website, analysts said that such a step makes Washington in a better situation to deal with Iran's  threats in the Gulf region.

The last decision of the US army reflects the changing priorities of the US military establishment in the present time.

The US website stated that the US military issued a statement last week, that saying   "the main Al-Sailiya camp in Qatar was closed last month, along with the southern Al-Sailiya camp, and an ammunition supply point called "Falcon."

The army statement affirmed that   these camps and bases served as a staging point for American supplies in the Middle East, as they contained 27 warehouses for storing tanks, armored personnel carriers, and a variety of equipment.

The statement of the US Central Commandment revealed that the forces and weaponry were transferred to Jordan.

The statement of the commandment indicated that supplies from the previous bases in Qatar as well as a mission of supply deployed to Jordan, become now a part of a supporting group in the Middle East.

Security experts commented of the withdrawal of US forces from Qatar as saying that transferring those forces benefits the USA in any possible conflict with Iran.

The experts pointed out that the with rocket strikes against the US forces, like that one last year on  the US military base Ain Al –Asd in Iraq  that left more than 100 wounded US servicemen, is an important tool in Iran's negotiation strategy with the USA and their allies on the margin of the nuclear deal.

They assured that the USA wants to deprive the Iranians of that strong point.
