Premier League side Liverpool decided to keep Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian King, with the team until the end of his contract, declining the Saudi offers to sell Salah in Summer, English media reports cited Liverpool Echo on Friday.

The reports suggested that the decision of Liverpool was driven by the declining performance of the team's results, especially after being eliminated from the UEFA Europa League.

Liverpool bid farewell to the Europa League despite its 1-0 win against Atalanta in the away game on Thursday at Jesus Stadium. The total result of the two-leg game was 3-1 for Atalanta. So, the Italians managed to capture their seats in the semi-finals.

The reports highlighted that Liverpool's administration looks forward to maintaining their players to capture all titles after losing several titles of this season.

The 31-year-old Egyptian international has been linked with a move to the Saudi Professional League. Last September Liverpool rejected a £150m offer from Al-Ittihad, which included Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.

Salah's contract will expire in June 2025 after re-signing a massive deal with the club in 2022.
