The Dutch Royal Family, King Willem-Alexander and Princess Margriet will not receive the Sussexes, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, Daily Express indicated on Wednesday.
The spokesperson of the Dutch Royals said: “King Willem-Alexander and Princess Margriet will attend the Invictus Games. The Princess will be present at the opening ceremony on April 16th, the King at the closing ceremony on April 22nd.”
Although Prince Harry is the patron of the Games, he will not have an audience with the Dutch Royalties, and will not be offered a room in the Dutch Royal palace.
The main reason for that is the Sussexes surrendering for their Royal titles, and duties, so they will not be given any attention as Royalties, however, they will be given the treatment of VIP guests.
In addition, they will be offered several security guards for protecting them, however, they should not be armed men.
