Renew Elegance by Drawing during Coronavirus Curfew

“Stay at Home '' is a slogan raised to prevent the spread of Coronavirus that is cruelty sweeping the world.

To avoid boredom that may happen because of Coronavirus curfew, we have to fill our lives with art and occupy our day by learning simple skills and methods to beautify our lives.

In the following lines we will provide simple methods and information for drawing on purses and bags, even if you do not know the art of drawing.

We also may feel bored of the frequent use of our purses, especially if they are made of leather.

Toaa Rauf, the artist and trainer in the initiative (Egyptian Woman) in Zagazig will help us in this task.

Rauf is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts, but only two years ago, she decided to enter the field of work after she formed her small family.

She mastered the craft of leather makers, then thought that this profession was beginning to spread.

How Rauf became different and made her imprint and how she abandoned the idea that the leather tastes suitable for the elderly only??!.

*The beginning of excellence*

Rauf started using various materials, such as copper and wood. She renewed the forms of bags. Adding the drawing on the leather attracted her because it adds spirit to the bag or to any job in general.

She started using Egyptian colors and started to draw step by step.

After a while, Rauf became a trainer in her province; she opened a workshop to turn from a housewife to a workshop owner and sprayed her arts thanks to the initiative (Egyptian Woman.)

*Simple tools*

Rauf says: “Painting on leather requires only a set of brushes and colors, but choosing and coordinating colors is necessary,” says Rauf. “We can take advantage of our children's study tools.”.

There are some tricks and the result will be very satisfactory to renew a leather bag or jacket, for example, given the importance of coordinating colors.

*First trick*

Using stencils which is a hollow paper in the form of a specific drawing and has different areas that are affixed to the leather or fabric. Then start coloring using a small sponge. More than one color can be mixed according to the idea in a consistent way

*Second trick*

We prepare adhesive paper and cut it as desired and paste it with a certain shape and start coloring between the blanks and paste with brush or sponge in a fresh way, which is more suitable for beginners.
