Fakhr Eddine's father was a Muslim, while her mother was a Christian. She lived a period of dual-religious, between Islam and Christianity, as the mother registered her in school under the name Mary Fakhry.
She studied Christianity for years and learned the traditions of the Christian religion, practiced its rituals, and performed her prayers until her father discovered this and went to school and told the teachers about her Muslim religion.
Fakhr Eddine did not know how to pray for a long period of her life. She sought Shadia to learn how to pray, who gave her a book entitled "The Little Muslim", but she did not understand anything from it.
