Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) Chief Ednaldo Rodrigues confirmed, Wednesday, that Real Madrid Coch Carlo Ancelotti will take over as Brazil's First Football team coach in 2024.

Rodrigues revealed that Ancelotti will join the team after his current contract with the Spanish giants expires.

He will succeed Tite who departed the team after Brazil were eliminated from the FIFA World Cup tournament in 2022.

Rodrigues said that Fernando Diniz will take charge of the Selecao temporarily for a year alongside his role as Fluminense manager, then, Ancelotti will take charge in time for Copa America.

CBF Chief said: "His (Diniz) game plan is almost similar to that of the coach that will take over at Copa America, Ancelotti," adding: "We don't call him an interim coach of the national team. He will come and make the transition in Brazil for Ancelotti."

In the same context, Many of Brazil's top stars expressed their desire to be managed by Ancelotti, including Neymar, and Vinicius Jr.
