A few days ago, archaeologists discovered a 100-year-old letter to Santa Claus but it was kept closed and stamped.
The center of Alsace Archaeology mentioned on its Facebook page, "what an incredible chance to find out a few days before Christmas!"
It added that this letter was found during excavation works at the Ganzau mills site, Strasbourg and Illkirch-Graffenstaden.
The boy mentioned in his letter that his love for Santa Claus; he expressed to him his will to satisfy his parents. Finally, he requested from Santa Claus a bicycle and carousel.
Other belongings were also unearthed such as menus, cards, and family photos.
Unfortunately, most of them were destroyed.
