"The President sent a cable of condolences to Mr. Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of Britain, expressing his heartfelt condolences for the loss of his mother," said Rady.
"May Allah Almighty rest her soul in peace and grant her family and loved ones patience and solace," Sisi's message read.
Johnson's mother, Charlotte Johnson Wahl, has died aged 79 on Tuesday. The British Times newspaper said she died "suddenly and peacefully" at St Mary's Hospital in west London.
Boris Johnson once described his mother, who was a painter, as the "supreme authority" in the family.
