Queen Elizabeth II canceled her North Ireland tour upon medical advice to rest for a few days, Buckingham Palace announced on Wednesday.
The Palace added in its statement that the Queen “in good spirits and is disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland, where she had been due to undertake a series of engagements”
It is worthy to mention that the 95-monarch was spotted using a walking device, cane, for the first time in 17 years during a service at Westminster Abbey.
Cameras captured the 95-year-old monarch while handing a walking stick by Princess Royal Anne since they arrived at the cathedral.
The Queen to use walking devices as she used them before in 2003, and 2004 after having a successful knee operation.
The service that the head of the British kingdom attended was dedicated to mark the centenary of the Royal British Legion.
