Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for organizing the talks between the Russian and American sides and the friendly working atmosphere during which the negotiations took place.
Putin said, in statements reported by the Russian TASS news agency, that he intends to contact Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the next few days, to thank him for hosting the Russian-American talks in Riyadh.
He added, "I think that the call will take place within the next few days, of course, not today because I am on a trip in St. Petersburg, and I will certainly make a call to the Saudi Crown Prince to thank him personally for this support."
