Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with Bahraini King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in Moscow tomorrow, Thursday.
"The two sides intend to discuss the prospects for Russian-Bahraini cooperation in the trade, economic, humanitarian and energy fields,” Kremlin said in a statement, noting that joint documents are scheduled to be signed after the meeting.
According to the statement, both leaders will discuss situation in the Middle East, taking into account Bahrain’s presidency of the League of Arab States.
The King of Bahrain had previously expressed - during his meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov - his thanks to President Vladimir Putin for his efforts to improve relations with Bahrain and the Arab world.
