As fall approaches, many countries across the globe are experiencing storms. One such storm, named "Storm Daniel", has caused a haze of dust suspended in the air.

This has resulted in a range of symptoms such as chest allergies, skin itching, and eye infections. To stay safe and healthy, it is important to stay indoors unless you have to.

Here are some tips to help you stay safe during this time.

Tip 1: To protect yourself from polluted air, it's important to wear masks when going outside. Additionally, avoid being in close contact with people who have colds and flu.

Tip 2: To prevent dust from entering your nose and mouth, use wet wipes.

Tip 3: Consuming vegetable soup can help provide your body with the necessary nutrients to increase resistance. For those with allergies, taking medication regularly during this time is crucial to avoid complications.

Tip 4: Stay away from smoking areas and avoid wearing strongly scented perfumes as they can irritate the nose. Try to avoid exposing your body to allergens such as dust, blooming flowers, and certain types of perfumes.

Tip 5: Those who have difficulty breathing can use a salt solution as a temporary solution.

Tip 6: It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids, especially water, and limit outdoor exposure during volatile weather.

Tip 7: Avoid switching frequently between heating and cooling.

Tip 8: Keep your car windows closed at all times, even when you are driving, and use the air conditioner and purifier instead.
