The President of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, Chapa Kuroshi, warned of the danger of nuclear war due to the conflict in Ukraine.

Kuroshi stressed the rejection of these threats to turn the war into a nuclear confrontation because of the potentially catastrophic global repercussions that could result from it.

The UN reaffirmed that what is happening in Ukraine constitutes a violation of the United Nations Charter and international law, and called for an end to the bloodshed.

This came during the resumption of the special session of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss the Ukrainian war

The President of the General Assembly said, “Twenty thousand civilians and many soldiers have been killed, in addition to countless wounded, while eight million refugees have been dispersed throughout Europe and beyond. "
