President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honored on Thursday, the families of the martyrs, during the 37th educational symposium of armed forces, to mark Martyr's Day.
It is worth mentioing that, the Egyptian Armed Forces celebrate Martyr's Day every year on March 9, in order to commemorate the souls of the martyrs and the sacrifices they made in order to preserve the homeland.
Egypt has been celebrating the Martyr’s Day since 1969 in commemoration of the martyrdom of the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Army, Abdel Moneim Riad, during the war of attrition with Israel.
