President El Sisi Receives Presidential Candidates for 2023 Eelections

On Tuesday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received the three other candidates who run for the latest presidential elections in Egypt at Al Ittihadeya Palace, the Presidency spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy announced.

Fahmy added that President El Sisi welcomed the three candidates who participated in the elections along with him and they are Republican People's Party President Hazem Omar, Egyptian Social Democratic Party President Farid Zahran, and El Wafd Party President Abdel Sanad Yamamah. 

During the meeting, President El Sisi asserted his appreciation for them and their political performance which reflected more variety in the political scene. 

President El Sisi pointed out that the real success of Egypt was symbolized by the high turnover for the elections by the citizens which reflected the political awareness of the Egyptians.

On their side, the candidates congratulated President El Sisi, praising the performance of the Egyptians in the elections. They also wished El Sisi luck and success in the challenges he would face as a President of Egypt. 

The Spokesperson added that the meeting witnessed a review of the efforts for national development.

At the end, the President hailed their efforts, asserting that dialogue with various political forces helps in developing the society.
