On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was received by the Jordanian King Abdullah II in Amman, Jordan.
The Spokesperson of the Presidency Ahmed Fahmy said that both leaders praised the historical bilateral ties between Egypt and Jordan in all fields.
They also asserted their keenness to develop these brotherly relationships and enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields.
Fahmy added that the meeting included the importance of continuing the coordination and consultation for various common interest international and regional issues, mainly the developments in Gaza.
Both leaders asserted the necessity of reaching a ceasefire in Gaza, especially in light of the humanitarian catastrophe in the strip.
They also warned of the dangerous consequences of any military campaign in Rafah, calling on the international community to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
